Here is my test about putting some yarn in the arrow, to find the arrow when the FOB pop of hitting a deer
Worked very well and now Im ready for monday morning, then the roe buck season starts here

Awesome work there Olsen.
what did you use as a plug to hold the yarn in the tube upon the dragging out phase? Did you use a dowel like Paul or something else? I like those glasses they are working good.

I used a piece of soft foam from my rifle case, its more easy fo put in the arrow than a dowel......
I put in 5 meter of yarn, and its more than you need I think
Monday I have both glasses and bowcam ready, so if I shoot a buck, there will be some good film, I hope

I didn't even think to use the foam!!! I have been thinking of using the red wall inserts for hanging pictures and heavy things in drywall I can't think of what they are called at this moment. ( Dang Chemo Brain). Yes I think 5 Meters should do nicely. How much weight does it add to your arrow?
I am looking forward to seeing the video. Can't wait to see those FOBs fly.

Dont know about the weight, but in 25 meter there is no change in my hitting area

I think I have to try this too Not that I gt to hunt, but it can be a great help in the 3D course too.
