PostSubject: What FOB size   Wed May 11, 2011 6:10 am

I'm looking at changing arrows to either the Victory VAP's or the Carbon Express Aramid's. However, I do not know which size FOB to use. Add to the fact that Carbon Express also has a bulldog collar and the nocks that they use, I was wondering what I need to have to be able to use them. I am leaning towards buying the Aramid as I have read the reviews and they seem to be pretty tough arrows. I reckon 12 should last me Very Happy . Any info would be much appreciated. I have also looked at the Starrflight website but it does not have the arrows listed.

Hi Jimmy

Welcome to the team.

As of right now they do not have them for the Victory VAP's they are in the works and should be hitting the market really soon. Now as for the CX Aramid KV's do you know which nock they are using? if it is the TCX or CX nock I talked to Paul Morris and he said to look into which nock they use you may or may not have to remove the Bulldog Collar. I am sorry I am not as versed in the different styles as I should be and if I did not answer your ?? I am sure there are many here who can give you some real world experience if not Please feel free to call Starrflight @ 888-488-4712 and Paul will be able to give you the scoop.

Live to hunt hunt to live.

I'm pretty sure the CX would use the standard FOB's the downside is you wouldn't be able to use the bulldog collar.

VAHuter is right about the VAP's I talked to Pau the other day and he dud let me know that he is working on a FOB for the Harvest Time HT-1's which is very similar to the VAP's
