Hello everyone: I've been shooting FOBs for over 3 years now... been using a Dropzone rest all that time on both of my bows. I'm looking to change rests. Don't get me wrong... the DZ has worked for me... killed 4 deer and puts up great scores in 3D league... BUT... I would really like a rest that contains the arrow throughout the draw cycle and that doesn't raise on the draw but remains in a drawn up position and drops upon the release of the shot. What's out there that would work for me?

By what your saying, there is a couple of different options you have.
The Ripcord/Ripcord Code Red will do exactly what your asking along with the QAD Hunter rest. Also NAP makes a rest called the "Scizzor" which i have on my iceman. Love that rest. But all of these rest's can hold your arrow in a contained position while getting the heck out of the way upon release.

I shoot my FOBs on two different bows. My primary bow is a 2008 Martin Firecat. The other bow is a 2008 Pearson Spoiler Angle.

I'm not sure what Paul thinks about this rest but if you like your DropZone Trophy Ridge is making a new rest this year called the Revolution. I'm just not sure if it's FOB freindly or not. Here's a link http://www.trophyridge.com/arrow-rests/revolution/

Re: TR Revolution. Looks like a FOB shooting machine my only concern is the clearance from the cent-line of the arrow to the side of the rest housing. If anyone has a Revolution please let us know how the clearance looks.

wow... that rest looks pretty awesome! I'm thinking it could be the way to go. I hope to hear some reviews on it from people that shoot FOBs. Do you know when it will be available?
