PostSubject: Broadhead flight issue???   Thu Sep 15, 2011 6:52 pm

Ok, I have a very odd isuue (odd to me anyway). I can't get my 100 gr. thunder head broadheads to fly the same as my field tips no matter what I try. My field tips with fobs fly amazing, no problems whatsoever. I can broadhead tune till I'm blue in the face and the broadhead will always be 3-4 inches left of my field tips at 25-30 yrds. I can shoot expandable heads and they work fine, just not fixed blades. The wierd thing is my Thunderheads shoot good with blazers on. I can't figure it out.... I'll use the rage for hunting this year but it bugs the heck out of me that I can't get m old broadheads to work with my fobs... I'm just one of those guys that has to know why... Any insight is appreciated.. Oh ya, I'm shooting a Bowtech Allegiance with carbon force 300 radial-X-weave arrows. Thanks... Brian...

Well, I may have this thing figured out... I put on a new cable slide, this one pulled the strings a little closer to the gaurd then the old one did. Shot some sticks, and life is good now.. I am assuming that my fobs were just touching ever so slightly and the broadheads were showing this worse then the field tips... Not 100% sure that is what it was as I thought I had room before but all is good now.... Happy hunting....
