PostSubject: My Quebec Monster   Sat Jan 08, 2011 8:33 pm

So my cousin John(IceMan2383) and myself went on an amazing Black Bear hunt this past summer in Quebec,CA. What an amazing experience it truly was. My cousin shot his bear the 2nd night of hunting(i'll let him post his picture up) and i shot mine the 3rd night of hunting. We did both see bear's everynight up there and he also saw a moose. I got up into my stand about 4-4:30 in the afternoon and had not seen a thing for hours becided red squirels and chipmunks. Well about 8:30pm i heard this (woof) comiong from behind me and ill be honest, i froze. Didn't breathe, didn't move a muscle. Well he started making his way around my left side and i only heard him one time after the first time. Well he broke through the tree line and when i saw him my jaw dropped. I waited for him to move away a little and put him in my scope. Just as he started to turn in a quatering to me position i pulled the trigger and down he went. Dropped in his tracks. Took me 15 minutes to get down out of the tree i was shaking so bad, and all i had to do was unload my rifle, pick up my shooting sticks, and un-do my tree strap. Got down and re-loaded my rifle and walked towards him. He was DOWN! One of the best feelings in the world. Couldn't of asked for a better place or a better person to go with!
