Due to the budget getting real tight and all, I have purchased a Monster 6 second hand. I am planning on putting the ripcord code red on it. Does anyone foresee a problem with this setup.

you should be good to go man...a lot of guys who are using FOBs are using a ripcord...clearance is the big thing...once you get set up, run that tester through your bow and see how everything looks....good luck!
