Hi Everyone
Greetings from darkest Africa ( South that is).
I have been shootin bows 'n arrows since 1978.
My last bow was a PSE Elite Mach IV which I still have.
I decided to take the bow out of "storage"over the Christmas holidays and after shooting a few arrows, got to "googling" the web on latest bows and equipment, and I must say, I was quite amazed.
Anyway -- long story short --- Ended up with a new 70 # and 30 " DL Hoyt Turbohawk, carbon n-fused 340 Easton shafts
On bringing it home, the wife said "Hmmm NEW TOYS huh ! "So I decided to get her some new toys too.
Got her a Mission Craze -- the logic here was If she dont like it, then with a few deft twists of the grub screws, the little 30# 25"DL can transform into a 70 pounder for yours truly ( smart hey).
So from going from 1 old bow, we now suddenly had THREE.
Then I spied an ad in a swop column for a 70 # and 29"DL Bowtech Allegiance. Offered the guy a whole bunch of Radio Control equipment (TOYS again).
SO now we got 4 bows. But there is hope for me as I intended giving the old girl ( the PSE, not the wife) to a freind to get him started in the addiction.
I must say I am enjoying getting all the old muscles back into play and will become a very active archer once again.
I was intriged by the FOB concept and will be trying some out, although from what I have read on our local archery forum is that the local guys all dislike them.
I will be visiting the States in April/May this year and as it will be my first visit we will be travelling around quite a bit ( West Coast, Utah, Oregon mostly). I hope I will find time to get in a hunt, even for a day or two while i am there.
Anyway -- that's me.
Best Regards
Johnno
