Well, thought I might as well ask here to start... I'm thinking of getting a rangefinder and the particular one I am interested in is the bushnell legend 1200. I want it for Bow as well as rifle... Any thoughts or suggestions?

From what I have read it is good product with mixed reviews most of the complaints have been they can not range close objects. I have read more good things though and this looks like a model I would like to buy as I also hunt rifle and archery. The arch option sounds neat as well as choosing the sight in range is cool too.
I use the Nikon Monarch 800. works very well out to 700+ yds Incline decline no problems.
For Archery have you thought of the Bad River Outdoors Tagged out Range finder? http://www.badriveroutdoors.com/
Kinda neat I was going to try this one day.
Sorry I can't give you more advise on this range finder. Good luck and if you do buy it please give us a review of how you like it.

I actually just stumbled across the tagged out rangefinder video the other day. I have seen the concept before but this particular device seems to be quite good,, from the videos at least anyway.... Thanks for the input...
