| I'm new to the FOB thing and am currently shooting fletched alum arrows. I need to order some Carbon shafts and want to know what nocks I need to think about using. I heard the accunock is good but may have longevity issues. So what do you recommend? Thanks for any insight you can give. | |

| Agree 100% with what FryGuy Said......Accunocks all the way
No String pinch, due to a slightly longer nock No more of that dreaded "Twang" But they have some pretty cool colors that look pretty sweet sitting ontop of a FOB!
Do yourself a favor and check them out!

| Just got my order of accunocks and carbon shafts. The accunock is VERY tight in the shaft. How tight should it be and how do I make it right? Should I sand the nock just a hair?
Obviously too loose is not good either but as it is right now I may not be able to get it back apart if I put the fob/nock on the shaft. | |

| im NO expert, but tight would be good right? and you shuld be able to get it off easy enough, u have the fob to pull on so plenty of grip to pull it out. i have goldtips atm (havnt gotten any fobs yet) and there recomended for fobs and there very tight in my goldtip shafts. had to use my teeth to pull one out but if u have a fob to grip shuldnt be to difficult. good luck | |

| Ok....First Cowboy, what shaft are you using. I know my nocks fit a little tight in my V1's. Aslong as they still pop off after doing a pass through on a old target you should be good to do.
Lemonfuzzy.... The Bohing nocks will work but depending on the ATA you may have a string pinch problem with the nocks being on the shorter side. If your shooting a D Loop it is a easy fix though. Just spread your loop out a little and sereve on the inside of the top and bottom knots a little to hold it open. Should take care of your problem.
Good Luck Fellas! | |

| metalman - I just got a dozen Beeman ICS Bowhunters. The nocks are very tight. I can put them in by hand but had to use pliers to twist it back out. I'm thinking that may be a little tight. I'll put one in with a fob and see if I can pull it of without much effort. How is the best way to loosen the fit if needed? What if I get them too loose - how can I tighten them back up? | |

| Use the least abrasive material you can find. like a green scrubby pad or something along those lines. it wont take much. maybe before trying that use a no scent oil on the nocks and slide them in like that, see how that works out. | |
